As you can imagine, the Grasshopper made a big impact in the vaping community and continues to be in high demand. And thanks to all the hype about this unit, I started to get interested.
After the persuasion from many of my fellow vape users, and after some research, I decided to try this unit out myself, and see if all the hype and all the popularity was actually worth it.
What Made the Grasshopper Vape Become Popular
One of the first things I wanted to know about the Grasshopper vape is why it has become so popular, so fast. It climbed the ‘popularity latter’ and got to the top in record time.
There is one key feature that makes the Grasshopper vape stand out from the thousands of other units on the market, and this feature is its unique build and design.
The Grasshopper vaporizer was designed and manufactured to be one of the most discreet units on the market. Its design is the exact replica of a pen. Yes, that’s right, it looks exactly like a normal pen.
But does this design actually make it the most discreet vaporizer on the market? Well, that’s exactly what I sought out to find; and that is exactly what you will find out in this honest review.
First Impressions
First impressions are important, and I always like taking in to consideration even this detail when reviewing vaporizers. And with the Grasshopper vaporizer, I was actually not disappointed with first impressions.
When they say that the Grasshopper vape was designed to be an exact replica of a pen, they are not lying. When I pulled this unit out of its packaging, I was surprised to find nothing more than a pen.
However, behind its pen-like design, this unit has tricks up its sleeve. Boasting quality materials, and made to offer quality vape, I was surprised to find that the hype about this discreet design was not a lie.
Key Features
After being surprised by its pen-like design, I moved on to the ‘first-use stage’. As I tried the Grasshopper vape for the first few times, I took notes on its performance, its quality, and everything in between. These are the key features I discovered:
Fast Heat-up Time
One of the first features that stood about the Grasshopper vape is its impressive heat-up time. Unlike other units on the market, this unit reaches the ideal temperature in 15-20 seconds.
Durable
Thanks to the quality materials that the Grasshopper boasts, including stainless steel walls and screen, and a silicone vapor path, it can be categorized as a durable, long-lasting unit.
Quality Battery
The Grasshopper allowed me to enjoy around 30 to 40 draws, to about 3-4 chambers before it needed to be recharged. Although it’s not the most impressive unit, I was still able to enjoy without having to worry too much about always charging my unit.
Easy to Use
I personally prefer a unit that is easy to use and easy to enjoy, and that’s exactly what the Grasshopper vaporizer is.
Is the Grasshopper Vaporizer Worth the Hype?
Although the Grasshopper vape has impressive features, it has also has its flaws. After all, no unit is perfect. There are a few features that could definitely be improved on this unit…
Not the most Discreet Option: One of the things that has made the Grasshopper become popular is its discreet, pen-like design. However, Grasshopper is not the most discreet unit on the market.
In today’s vape market, there are a handful of vaporizers that are smaller, more compact and more portable than the Grasshopper vaporizer; and when compared to other popular units, such as the Pax 3, or the new DynaVap M 2019, this unit can’t compete.
Not the most impressive - Although the Grasshopper Vaporizer does have its ‘good side’, it is not the most impressive unit on the market. There are a handful of units on the market that are offered at the same price as this unit, but that is higher quality, and offer more impressive performance.
Last Thoughts on the Grasshopper Vaporizer
With the Grasshopper vaporizer, I was able to enjoy a handful of impressive features, and have a stress-free, easy to enjoy vape experience. Thanks to the simplicity of this unit, I was able to enjoy my favorite materials without having to deal with a handful of complicated features and functions.
And although the Grasshopper is not the most discreet option on the market, I was still able to enjoy delicious vapor on the go without feeling too obvious.
In general, I had an enjoyable vape experience with the Grasshopper vaporizer. It might not be might favorite unit, and it may have its flaws, but I at least was able to enjoy my favorite materials, and enjoy the quality vapor.
Would I say that this is one of the best units on the market? No, not exactly. However, for those that are looking for a portable, discreet vape, they should at least give this unit a try, and see if it's perfect for their vape preferences and tastes.
