The FOG’s heating technology is the ultra-popular hybrid heating, and that’s one of the main reasons it’s vapour is so amazing. Hybrid heating technology combines features from both convection heating’s hot air, and conduction heating’s contact vaporization, and it works wonders.

We suggest letting the vape heat up for around 30-40 seconds, and then taking long, slow hits - that way you will get all the goodies in your product and dense clouds. Otherwise, if you vape hurriedly, you might be disappointed with the size of your clouds. The temperature settings indicated by the small LED lights are as follows:

Look and Feel

This vape is beautiful and very sleek in design, comparable to vapes such as the DaVinci IQ or the Arizer Solo II. Of course, it is much simpler, since it is a budget portable vaporizer, but it still holds up against the giants in the industry.

Battery Life and Charging Time

The usual battery life for the FOG is around 40 minutes of continuous use, which translates into around 5 sessions. This does come in a bit short in the world of powerful vapes, but the FOG has a special weapon to combat this short battery life...

This vape has a special feature, which is removable batteries. The unit itself comes with just one, but you can buy extra batteries for the XVAPE FOG anytime. Once you have extra batteries, you can charge one while you use the other, and then switch them out!

The usual charging time for the FOG is around 2-3 hours, which can be a bit long in comparison with other vapes but can also be just fine given the average person’s usage style. Therefore, we highly recommend getting an extra battery, that way you can vape non-stop all day.

Cleaning and Maintenance

The XVAPE FOG vaporizer comes with everything you need to maintain your vape between deep cleans and is also quite easy to clean when ‘deep clean day’ comes. Being easy to clean is a great quality in vaporizers, and this vape absolutely has it.

We do advise you to make sure you clean the vape out after each session to make sure the screens don’t get clogged up. But don’t worry, all you need to do is take the XVAPE cleaning brush and brush the chamber out. When the deep clean comes, all you need to do is soak the pieces that are removable (not the battery, of course) in isopropyl alcohol, and scrub the rest of the vaporizer with a pipe cleaner or cotton swab soaked in some isopropyl alcohol.

Once you’re done, rinse the soaked pieces, and run a max-temp session without any product to get rid of the alcohol vapours in the vape. Once this is done, you’ll find that everything is smooth and ready to go!
